Central City Neighborhood Council (CCNC) is a 501(c)(3) community organization incorporated in 1972 (the first in Salt Lake City) to advocate for the residents within its boundaries and to encourage civic engagement in Salt Lake City.
We are a volunteer-run organization, with elections for our executive board occurring annually at our November meeting. Our meetings are open to the public, and any resident within our boundaries who attends in-person at least one meeting may be considered a member of the council. See our bylaws below for details.
In order to operate, we rely on tax-deductible donations.
Central City’s boundaries are from South Temple to 1300 South and from State Street to 700 East. ZIP codes within our boundaries include most of 84111, some of 84102, and a very small part of 84105.
The area between 900 South and 1300 South is also part of the Liberty Wells Community Council. Residents between 900 and 1300 South may belong to either community council (or both).
